New Plans for Restoration

As reported in the local press (http://www.thejournal.co.uk/news/north-east-news/robert-burns-statue-set-return-4397989), there is now a plan to restore the statue of Burns and return it to Walker Park as part of a successful Heritage Lottery Fund bid to spend £1.8 million restoring the park’s amenities. The planned work will be completed by the end of 2016.
